Week One
Session 1 - Dr. Grudem / Michael Wear
The first week consists of presentations explaining why Christians should be involve in civic affairs.
Dr. Wayne Grudem - “Why Christians Should Seek to Influence Government for Good“
Michael Wear - "Kingdom Politics"
Dr. Grudem presents several wrong views christians have regarding government. He finishes with the right Godly view of government and shares our responsibilities as christians.
Michael Wear talks about how christians can begin to make politics their religion of hope. He concludes with christians' responsibilities are to bring the Kingdom of God hope into politics.

Week Three
Del Tackett - "Focus on the Family -The Truth Project class".- Whose Law
Dr, Tackett goes thru God's creation design, especially the Social Order. He will discuss in detail how Gods's design is under attack by the world not willing to acknowledge God's sovereignty.
In this class, Dr. Tackett takes a close and careful look at how these spheres are interconnected and how they relate to other aspects of the social realm: family, church, labor, community, the relationship between God and man and the state. Special attention is given to the design, structure, and role of the state, its place in God’s plan for human society, and the rightful extent and limits of its power. The state, as we will see, has the capacity to exert a tremendous power for good in the affairs of mankind as long as it operates within its proper boundaries. But it also has the potential to become the most horrendously pathological and abusive of all the social spheres if not kept in check.
Week Two
Del Tackett - "Focus on the Family -The Truth Project class".- Divine Imprint
Dr. Tackett goes thru God's creation design, especially the Social Order. He discusses in detail how God's design is under attack by the world not willing to acknowledge God's sovereignty.
Dr. Tackett looks at the amazingly detailed reflections of God’s nature that is inherent in the social order HE created. According to Dr. Tackett, the evidences of the divine imprint that we see in this realm are even more awe-inspiring and more indicative of the heart of the Creator than the marvels of DNA replication or the complexities of the blood-clotting system. It is for this very reason they also stand closer to the focal point of the cosmic battle that is raging in our culture today.
Week Four
Session 4 - The American Experiment
Del Tackett - "Focus on the Family -The Truth Project class".- The American Experiment
Dr. Tackett goes thru God's creation design, especially the Social Order. He discusses in detail how Gods's design is under attack by he world not willing to acknowledge God's sovereignty.
He examines a special sub-category of last week's topic of discussion: the design of the state. In particular, He takes a brief look at the questions, “What should God’s minister on earth" (Romans 13:4) look like? What is a proper form for this agency that is divinely appointed and commissioned to administer justice, punish evil, and encourage goodness among its citizens or subjects?” Dr. Tackett approaches this task by considering the American Experiment. We look at God's influence of our founding fathers. and how that philosophy has changed.
